The Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiya’ and Teacher Training of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta received the international accreditation with the title "Quality Seal" from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) on March 28^th, 2023. The preparation of the FIBAA Self Evaluation Report (SER) document has been carried out since 2021 and has passed several series of activities from benchmarking, preparation, and internal review from the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga and external experts. The documents began to be sent to FIBAA in March 2022 after experiencing several reviews and revisions from the FIBAA Team via e-mail to LPM UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Finally, the Arabic Language Education Study Program was visited by FIBAA on October 19^th – October 20^th, 2022.

In the FIBAA international accreditation process, the Bachelor Arabic Language Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga is assessed based on criteria which include excellence in teaching, quality of curriculum, support for students, and quality of research. The FIBAA Seal obtained by the Arabic Language Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga shows that this Study Program has fulfilled these criteria very well. Head of Arabic Language Education Study Program Dr. Nurhadi, M.A. feels grateful and proud of this achievement because the results of this hard work with the Secretary of Study Program (M. Nurul Huda, M.Pd.) and the entire FIBAA team were able to achieve very satisfying results.

The Dean of Tarbiya’ and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Sumarni said that this FIBAA international accreditation was a very proud achievement for the Bachelor Arabic Language Education Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga. "This shows that our Arabic Language Education Study Program has international standards in the delivery of Arabic language education, as well as meeting the very stringent quality requirements of FIBAA." Hopefully the results of international accreditation from the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) will bring blessings to the Bachelor Arabic Language Education Study Program to continue to make continuous improvements and innovate in improving the quality of lecturers, students, and alumni of the Bachelor Arabic Language Education Study Program, Aamiin.
